トップサーファー御用達、ボードペインティング・アーティスト Ryder Biolos by …Lost Surfboards

世界トップクラスのサーフボード・ブランド、ファクトリーの一つ、“MEYHEM”ことMatt Biolos[マット・バイオロス]がオーナー・シェイパーを務める …Lost Surfboards[ロスト・サーフボード]。

CT選手をはじめ、名だたるチームライダーたちが”MEYHEM”シェイプのボードを使用していますが、ここ最近そのボードに描かれたアートワークに注目が集まっています。

それらを手がけたのが、オーナーMatt Biolosの3女で、弱冠12歳Ryder Biolos[ライダー・バイオロス]です。

父のファクトリーでシェイプされた世界最高レベルのサーフボードをキャンバスとして、1本1本ハンドペインティング（時にはクライアントと一緒に）を施しています。

子供のお絵描きの枠を超えて、現在ではすでに確立されている彼女のアートワーク。
今の主流はブラシのかすれを利用して描くカラフルなグランジ・ペイント。スプレーやエアブラシでは表現しづらいハンドペイントならではの直感的な作風です。

ワールドチャンプ Tyler Wright[タイラー・ライト]、Carissa Moore[カリッサ・ムーア]をはじめ、Mason Ho[メイソン・ホー]、Coco Ho[ココ・ホー]、Griffin Colapinto[グリフィン・コラピント]などが、ボードシェイプと共に彼女のブラシアートのオーダーを行なっています。
